Ontario Heartland Chorus turned 20 years old last year!  Since 1997, we have been singing and entertaining audiences in our community and beyond.  Recent performances include the On the Verandah concert series at Benares Historic House and the event, “Friends, Flowers and Music” at Centennial Conservatory in Etobicoke and a performance at Toronto City Hall for International Women’s Day.

We compete annually in Syracuse, New York in Sweet Adelines regional competition.  We are members of Region 16, which includes choruses in Ontario and New York.  For more information about Sweet Adelines International and Region 16, click on the following links.

Ontario Heartland Chorus is an award winning chorus.  In 2008 and 2016, winning gold in Division A (Small Chorus Division) at Regional Competition!  In 2016, we won the award for most improved chorus.  In 2017, we returned to the competition stage and won 3rd place in our division.  We strive for musical excellence and have a lot of fun doing it!

Some of our chorus members enjoy singing a cappella music so much that they have joined or formed quartets.  There are four quartets associated with Ontario Heartland Chorus, namely Cadence, Flavah, Lavish and Mix and Match!  If you have an interesting in joining us or learning more, come out to our rehearsals.  If you would like to book the chorus, quartet or VLQ (very large quartet) for a performance, please contact Jennifer at [email protected].
